Luxury goods Design / Mexico City FW2018
Mentors: Creative Directors Alejandra Laviada and Laura Laviada (Ex editor in chief of Harper's Bazaar MX)
Pantera is a luxury brand renowned for its handcrafted leather accessories, with divisions for women, men, and entertainment luxury goods
& home décor. Drawing inspiration from Mexican cultural heritage and national artists, Pantera fuses tradition with modernity in each product,
creating items that are both artistic and functional. The brand’s craftsmen, many of whom have experience with prestigious labels like Cartier
and Dior, continue a legacy of exceptional craftsmanship established in Mexico City in the 1970s by the Laviada sisters.
In my role at Pantera, I led the design and development of women's handbag collections, from concept creation to technical packs, ensuring each
design reflected the brand's heritage while meeting market needs. I supervised the sample development process, focusing on quality control
and attention to detail, and played a key role in producing bags that embodied the brand’s vision of luxury, craftsmanship, and functionality.
