INTERACTIVE PLAYGROUND
Interactive Playground / Monterrey 2015
Mentor: Industrial Designer Paola Gracida; former designer at Nokia.
This conceptual proposal presents an interactive installation designed to foster national pride in children across Mexico.
Developed as a collaborative thesis project for XICO, the renowned Mexican fashion and toy brand founded by Cristina Pineda—also co-founder
of Pineda Covalin—this initiative merges culture, creativity, and play. Inspired by traditional Mexican toys, the installation takes the form of a playground
experience, designed to spark imagination, engagement, and a deeper connection to heritage through interactive storytelling and hands-on exploration.
